Denkai Animal Sanctuary is bringing affordable veterinary care directly to communities throughout the Four Corners. Our off-site clinics help remove transportation and financial barriers while protecting pets from preventable illnesses.

Denkai veterinarian Dr. Jami Van Hemel and our veterinary team will provide essential wellness services for pets in need. We are working to partner with the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office to support the community and its animals.

Services will include:

Microchipping - $25
Deworming - $10-$20
Flea and tick treatment
4DX heartworm and tick-borne disease testing - $47
Parvovirus testing

Each off-site veterinary clinic costs Denkai Animal Sanctuary approximately $1,500 in staff labor alone, in addition to vaccines, medications, testing supplies, equipment, transportation, and other medical necessities. Denkai employs trained veterinary professionals and support staff—we are not an all-volunteer organization.

We rely on foundation grants, corporate sponsorships, public donations, and community fundraisers to cover these expenses and bring affordable veterinary care to rural and underserved communities throughout the Four Corners.

By sponsoring a clinic—or contributing any amount—you help provide essential care to pets whose families may face financial hardship, limited transportation, or little access to veterinary services. A fully sponsored clinic means more animals can receive the care they need.
