Intake Requests

Surrendering a pet can  be an emotional and draining experience. We know you want the best for your pet even if you don't feel you can provide that.  Please feel free to fill out our surrender request form and we will get back to you within 72 hours of your request.

Please note that we currently operate through foster homes and do not have a shelter building where animals are housed.  Our ability to intake will depend on the availability of our foster parents.

Surrender Fees:

Owned pets that are not spayed or neutered: 

Dogs: $500

Cats: $250

Owned pets that are fully vetted:

They have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccinations and deworming and have been heartworm tested.

Dogs: $250

Cats: $125

Animals with behavior issues:  $1,500

If your pet has issues with other animals, aggression towards people, food, or otherwise, not only will we be working to rehabilitate that animal, they will have a much longer stay with us and the cost of care is very high for an animal in this position.  Denkai works hard to go the extra mile if we have space for animals like this and as such, our surrender fee is a requirement when in-taking behavior animals.

Please do not pay a surrender donation unless we confirm we can help your pet.
