Rescue Pet Adoption Area - Cortez Location

OBJECTIVE:

Renovation of 1600 SF floor space at current Adoption Center/ Retail Store location to allow for up to ten adoption areas for rescue dogs and cats.  

Increasing the ability to find homes.

Funding Needed  - Breakdown:

Flooring: 2000 SF -                                                             $5,000

Trim Cost: 160 LF -                                                             $    200

Labor Cost:                                                                         $3,000

Kennels for Pets -                                                              $5,000

Addition of Door through concrete:                                 $7,000

Outdoor Meet and Greet Area with Awning:                   $10,000

Total Project Cost:                                                            $30,200

Time Line: 

Project completion once funding is in hand:   30 days.

Denkai Animal Sanctuary's Animal Adoption Center and Thrift Store provides a safe house for rescued animals from all walks of life in the Four Corners area.  

Animals who walk into our doors in need of immediate help, receive it. They are placed in foster care, given veterinary care, and then placed for adoption to loving homes.

The Adoption Center aspect of our 16,000 square foot thrift and retail store is a favorite for individuals locally and nationally.  We helped to place over 1,000 rescued dogs and cats out of this location in 2020.

The need has grown and due to state PACFA regulations, we could not keep the adoption area for pets on our main floor.  And so we are adapting and moving this to a separate entrance.  

The animals need your help to make this transition possible.  All we need to make this happen is the funding!
