Thanks to First National Bank of Cortez’s assistance and creative lending, Denkai's operations have

become a success in Montezuma County and we are excited to finally have the opportunity to make

the leap into LaPlata County. 

Denkai’s relocation to the Hesperus facility began November 10, 2023.

Denkai plans to continue large animal rescue efforts and operations at the Hesperus location.
